"Andrew and me" is grammatically correct these days as well. I've just spent two workshops going over this as part of my education degree.

It grates on my dad's nerves as well, and I still dislike reading it.

Seriously? I was taught to omit the 'Andrew and' part and just try it with I or me. How could 'me needs to shop' be correct? Language changes, I guess. Annoyingly so. LOL

I think you're right. Another thing that bugs me is 'She went with John and I". She went with I? Nooooo. John and ME. Stuff like this can make you crazy. Although in my case, that ship has sailed. LOL
