Writer's Block: A few good men

Which U.S. President has made the most positive impact?
Was going to say Kennedy, but someone else said FDR, and on thinking about it, I agree. He did a lot to help people after the depression, and is the reason we have social programs for the 99% today. If you never need any assistance, you are fortunate, and you may think they are a waste of your tax money. But if hard times fall upon you for whatever reason, you will thank the universe there is help to feed and care for your family and yourself. On the other hand, he (with the best of intentions)opened the door to the lobbyists who own our government today. So maybe they cancel each other out. I don't know.
