I Suck at LJ, apparently

I cannot make this work, so I posted it on that OTHER blog.  You know, the one where I whine (a lot) that's in the sidebar.  And I stole it from analineblue, stole it first.

Quiz: What Kind of Liberal Are You?

My Liberal Identity

You are a Social Justice Crusader, also known as a rights activist. You believe in equality, fairness, and preventing neo-Confederate conservative troglodytes from rolling back fifty years of civil rights gains.

Take the quiz at

Just a little test, to see if it works in the comment field? ...It looks okay on my end, at least? (Also - activism, yay! ^_~)

I started on Blogger, then here just so I could read fanfic, and now I'm on Wordpress. I've not used LJ enough to really get how it works. Blogger was so easy, except when it wasn't, which was often. It just didn't work half the time.

As for the activism, since I have a chronic, debilitating illness (Say that three times fast. Actually, it's fun to say) Anyway, since I have that, I mostly get po'd at everything and sign petitions, but I am unable to go out and carry signs or march or any of the really fun stuff. At least I feel like I'm trying, even it is only by using the computer to express my opinions. BTW, 'neo-Confederate conservative troglodytes' is fun to say, too. :)

I feel like it must be some weird glitch or something, because all I did was cut and paste it into my journal, and it worked fine. LJ is weird sometimes though with code, so... Yeah. O_o

I'm really sorry to hear about your illness. :( I'm glad that with the internet, you still have a vehicle for expressing yourself though. *nod* ...And lol, I'm not 100% sure I even know what a troglodyte IS. (Reminds me of trollocs, if you've read any Robert Jordan? ^_~) :D

Troglodyte: caveman. I've had this thing for fourteen years, so I'm used to it. Worst part was having to quit working. I worked at a group home for teenage girls, and it was the most fun I've ever had working. It was like belonging to a huge, very dysfunctional family. It was in a big old Victorian in Haverhill, Mass., and later I transferred to an old sea captain's home in Newburyport, Mass. It had lots of fireplaces, which of course we couldn't use. I still miss it.

I have not read Robert Jordan, but I will look him up now. Always looking for new authors. I love reading, even more since I got my Kindle Keyboard. I put all the fan fiction on it and take it with me wherever I go. I actually have a few actual books on there, too. LOL

Ah, okay. *nod* (I also looked it up on Google, which told me largely the same thing, lol.) And hat does sound like a really rewarding job. It must have been really hard to leave, and I definitely don't blame you for still missing it. :(

If you're a fantasy fan at all, I think you'll like Robert Jordan. I'm actually not caught up at all with the Wheel of Time series, but I know it's finally wrapping up in the beginning of next year with the final book. I LOVED the first 5 books in that series though, and have meant to catch up for years now. It's a really engaging series though, I'm fairly certain you'd enjoy it. :D

Amazon has his books, so I will start with the first and if I like it, there's lots more. It's a good thing. LOL

Forgot to tell you I read "The Eye of The World" and liked it, so thanks for pointing me in that direction.

Oh, good! I'm glad you liked it. I first read that back in high school, and LOVED it. I keep meaning to re-read the series. :)
